Indian Scout Books was started in the early 1990's to furnish the widest selection of books and CDs on Native American genealogy and history, and to be the researcher’s primary source for Native American family history material. We carry a wide inventory of material from many different sources…large and small publishers, self-published material, historical and genealogical societies, as well as university and private presses. We add new titles on a regular basis, and will search for material not in our catalog to fill your needs.

In June 2008, IndianScoutBooks.com was acquired by Janaway Publishing, Inc., a publisher of genealogical and historical books and CDs, and became part of the Janaway family.
